Community Dutch Dance Training Program
For adults who have always wanted to learn Dutch Dancing but never had the opportunity before, the Tulip Time Festival Community Dutch Dance program is for you! This program is offered without a fee to participate, although a costume and wooden shoes will be needed to participate.
Help us celebrate our Alumni Dutch Dance program turning 50 years old this year, by gathering a group of friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family members to 'Join the Dance'!
Newcomers: Are you new to the greater Holland area community? Welcome! This is a great way to get involved in your community and meet new people! No matter what your nationality, join the fun and celebrate your community’s heritage for a week each year in May. Come as a full group of twelve dancers, as a couple or an individual. We will help you join a group and be ready to dance during Tulip Time 2020.
Previous Dancers: This program is also recommended for previous dancers who have not danced for a number of years or for those who are switching positions. This is a great way to "brush up" on those 'windmills' and 'stars' as well as build endurance. It is a great exercise program and a lot of fun!

Practices information: Mondays 6-7:30pm (and optional Wednesdays 3:30-5pm) at Calvary School
COSTUMES
Our costume director will work with you to find the right costume! Some assistance may be available for those who wish to dance but have concerns due to financial hardship. Please contact dutchdance@tuliptime.com with questions.
