International Town Crier Competition
Join us for the 2019 International Town Crier Competition!
We are pleased to welkom Town Criers from the USA, Canada, England, and the Netherlands to Holland, Michigan for the 2019 International Town Crier Competition! This competition is being held in honor of Tulip Time's 90th anniversary, as well as the retirement of Holland's official Town Crier, John Karsten.
Where can you see the Town Criers?
The Town Criers will be in Holland from Tuesday, May 7 - Sunday, May 12. They will be participating in the Volksparade on Wednesday, May 8; the Muziekparade on Saturday, May 11; and appearing at the Dutch Marktplaats event at the Holland Civic Center Place throughout the Festival.
Please join us for the 2019 International Town Crier Competition, held during the Dutch Marktplaats event at the Holland Civic Center Place on Friday, May 10 from 2 - 4pm!
Local downtown merchants: interested in having a Town Crier promote your business?
Town Criers will be available to cry in front of your business on Thursday, May 9 from 10am - 1:30pm! The cost is $25/cry. Please download the Request Form below and send to rachel@tuliptime.com by April 19 if you are interested in this fun & unique opportunity!
